About Autumn
Rooted in family. Trained by the best. Inspired by life.
I’m Autumn Keel, a Southwest Minnesota photographer, lifelong creative, and homesteading mom of three. My journey with photography began back in 2006, when I picked up a camera to capture the fleeting beauty of family life. One year later, I began training under world-renowned maternity and newborn photographer Ana Brandt—and I haven’t stopped learning since.
Over the last 17+ years, I’ve poured myself into mastering the art and safety of newborn photography. From lighting and editing to posing and digital design, I continue to refine my craft through annual clinics, certifications, and advanced mentorship. I’m proud to be the only Certified Volunteer Photographer in a 50-mile radius for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, providing compassionate remembrance portraits for grieving families.
But beyond the credentials—I understand what these photos mean. As a mom of three (Caleb, Camille, and Carissa), I’ve lived through every messy, beautiful season of motherhood. I know how fast it all goes.
That’s why I don’t just take photos—I create legacy artwork.
Whether I’m photographing your newborn, your graduating senior, or your commercial brand, I bring intention, gentleness, and authenticity to every session. I also design custom AI-generated backdrops and photo sets through my print studio, Dairy Hill Digitals, making each session as unique as your story.
🐓 When I’m not behind the camera…
You’ll find me with my husband Justin on our homestead, Dairy on a Hill, where we raise chickens, ducks, turkeys—and a strong, sweet daughter who shows goats and runs her own breeding program.
Family is at the heart of everything I do. Let me help you preserve yours.
